Safety practices for electricity and related hazards:
- Keep cables OFF the floor
- Do NOT use back-to-back power strips
- Keep water away from electrical equipment (remember: Water low – Electricity high)
- Turn OFF power supply before touching electrically “hot” parts
- Ground appropriately
- DON’T try to repair equipment
- Beware of BARE cables. Consider all untested conductors as “hot”
- Follow equipment instructions and learn their specifications
