- Locate the closest First Aid Kit to your lab/work space. Current locations:
- At IESL main Labs Building (FORTH Main Building B):
- Basement: Machine shop
- Ground Floor: TCM Lab
- First floor: Meeting room
- At FORTH Main Building C (in Greek: Gamma, “Γ”, building):
- Main Secretariat (Office Γ270)
- Laser Group Secretariat (Office Γ230-31)
- Computer Center
- At STEPC Building:
- Electronics shop (Ground floor)
- Electronics shop (Ground floor)
- Microelectronics Labs (Physics Dpt. Building):
- Kitchen
- At IESL main Labs Building (FORTH Main Building B):
- Report any supplies missing from First Aid kits to your PI or to safety personnel. First Aid kits contain:
- Disinfectant (e.g. hydrogen peroxide or iodine (“Betadine”) solution),
- Adhesive bandages (“Hansaplast”, “Band-aids” or similar),
- Elastic bandage
- Cotton wool
- Gauze
- Adhesive tape for gauze
- Single-use mask (currently removed due to COVID-19 epidemic)
- Aspirin
- Paracetamol (DEPON)
- Learn how to treat cuts, wounds and train in CPR (related seminars are usually advertised around FORTH)
- Locate FORTH’s defibrilator (main building entrance) in case you need to use it or to bring it to someone in need
